Good for your Granny, lmfao over that, the look on the jdub ladies face would have been priceless to see. Sorry for her condition though. But it would be interesting to get her view on death and the after life during her times of lucidity.

The congregations and elders and pioneers and other ilk don't really care about anyone in the cong when they are really destitute or chronically ill, miss meeting equals less love extended. It's a shame really.

Haha, mouthy. I already know what you will answer. I'll get back to you, when you start each day w a clean slate; finding out who you are, finding your belief for that day, finding out what yr it is, etc.

    LOL at grandma!

My mother in law has alzheimer's, she still lives at home. She still has the book study at her house but rarely goes to any of the meetings even the one at her house. My sil finally got her to go to the meeting last Sunday, ever since then she's been complaining about how someone stole her bible from the KH. I talked to her today, when I asked her what she was doing she said "trying to figure which one of those thieves at the KH stole my bible".

    I've been laughing since.

Great story, Elyse! I'm thankful for your granny's sake that you're there for her. Yes, shower her with love and gifts because you'll miss her when she's gone.

    Missing my own dear Mamaw,

yes, take her a thanksgiving goody or two, and a christmas present. I love her answer - too bad it isn't on video for family history!
