I know of 2 elders and 1 ms in Moberly, MO. One was df'd, reinstated, and is now an elder again. The second elder is deceased.
The ms is my stepdad.......who confessed "supposedly" to some elders years later in another state, after my sister brought it up in an elder's meeting. Of course, nothing was ever done. The local elders know about it, but of course...........nothing.

I know of 1 elder who molested 3 different little girls and one other non-elder who got arrested for child porn. Not sure if any molestation was involved. And, there were other cases of 'brothers' doing stuff, but no other elders that I know of. Ugh.
Yes, me. - by an elder who remained so for many years until he molested his grandchildren. I know of 4 that he molested (besides) me but - no witnesses, so nothing could be done. To my knowledge, he was never turned over to the police but was finally removed as an elder years later when he molested his grandchildren. My father, to his credit, (also an elder) privately warned the families with children in the congregation for years. It's a wonder nothing was done to my father. I think everyone knew but because of the two-witness rule (and at that time, it couldn't be two separate witnesses to two different incidents as it is now) nothing was done.
I do believe things are changing in how they handle things now - but I firmly believe it's only because of the news exposure and being forced to make a change. Certainly not because "Jehovah's cleaning out his organization." What freaking BS.
There was a rash of pedophelia in Luling, Texas.
The PO was a homosexual pedophile and due to my bungling of the matter, got off with simple disfellowshipping. I was very experienced as an elder, but had not faced a situation where pedophelia was involved. He should have gone to prison. In my defense, this guy messed around with another elder's son, and the other elder was aware of it, but would not bring charges. At the time he was trying to become a Circuit Overseer, which he eventually did, but sacrificed his son in the meantime.
In addition, the pedophile PO had a son who was an MS, and he was a pedophile too, and active homosexual, along with his fleshly brother who was a Bethelite homosexual. This young man did go to prison on a sentence of 10 years.
We also had a non-MS homosexual pedophile that was sent to prison for 10 year sentence.
In another congregation that we went to following all of this shit, there was a Ministerial Servant that had been convicted of two violent rapes and served two years in prison. I tried to get him removed but was unable. He and his wife, she was an enabler, rented rooms out to very pretty young sisters, and no one was alarmed.
I also was made aware of the pedophile in Moberly, MO. that moved to the southern part of Missouri that was mentioned by shelly above.
Its a dirty little place, with almost no protection for kids.

I've read each and every post; my heart goes out to all affected. My life has been a pile of shit becasue of this organization, no matter what I achieve, and at times I've done quite well, it never seems to make me able to stop thinking about the effects this "religion" has had on my personal life.
Each and everyday, I rise and think of why my family, at least those still fooled, can't see through the bull. I suffer these thoughts in solitude, sans my posts here on the board. After hearing that many of you have endured molestation on top of all that, I feel like a wussy. That must be hard to go through. Honestly, I'm not even going to pretend that I understand what that must be like, becasue I know I can't
Then to read outright fu**ing lies made by the GB in their press relese-that the incidents are rare, knowing that my family will spout this lie in defense of these God damn fools.... fools they haven't ever met and can't even point to a photo and name them. THat makes me so damn mad I can't speak. My cousin said last week "well the GB are good men tryng to do what's right" so I said "good name them by name and tell me what attributes that hold that make them such great men". Of course, he knows none of them... yet they are "trying to do what's right". That was an interesting conversation,I bet all of you would've loved to been there.
I've seen where many of you have even kept your cool when trolls are posting, one yesterday was asking why we hate, saying to get on with our lives and the like. Saying that to people that have been molested makes me sicker than the ills the man calimed to suffer while reading our posts. His harshness to others that suffer only shows that he retained the ability to act like a JW. He was an idiot and not worthy of any of your kind words to him. May all of you have peace... Oh and one more thing... my father, unber-elder, knew of a molester in the cong, he warned us and told the cong nothing.... I wonder how many were affected by this sick monster? We'll probably never know.
a guy from bethel in the states went to england to live , got wed and abused loads of kids in the congregation , he was reported to the police and admitted to 14 charges of indecency out of the 28 he was charged with , he was jailed at leeds crown court by judge paul hoffman for nearly 4 years in the year 2000, he was also put on the sex offenders reg for life and deported back to the states when he finished his sentence i have heard he is back at meetings hoping to be reinstated , he abused when he was a min servant and used to tell kids they would not get into the new system if they told on him , what a bastard , just in case hes in your congregation his name is rudolfo albert deleon so keep your girls away from him please .

dawg , i have found that elders warn thir kids to when there is a predator inthe cong , it seems so unfair that they can do that but not warn other parents of the rank and file , gossiping is such a bad thing though even if it protects just one child from a life sentence called abuse . surley it should be called keeping children safe not gossiping . keep smiling though
The one elder molester I know for sure was my grandfather. He was indiscriminate in his lechery - boys and girls, I know what he did to me and saw what he did to a (non-witness) girl, which was tame compared to what he must have done in private. Target age was 1 to 12, with a preference for about 5 as far as I could see. He molested most of his own children, though his wife protected one daughter. Messed with his son when very young, but later left him alone because he got "too fat". A male cousin in the household was apparently also spared due to his weight. Sadly, as he would often tell me, he regarded me as "such a beautiful boy".
He's dead, and I'm still alive. Not sure I can take credit for either of those, though.
I looked through my old elementary school pictures the other day. Scary! Each year I look a little more strange and withdrawn. Or maybe I just got less beautiful with age! ;-)
I get the impression that his activities were known by some (other elders) or at least suspected; when later in life I confided to someone what had happened to me I was told, "Oh, I'm not at all surprised - he was molesting his children all the time".
