Pleiades are great from here too, you know. Of course you know... or don't you?

(Btw, I saw the comet in Perseus last week with my daughter on her small telescope, and I didn't know what it was!)

Funny! I'm the 7th daughter, born in the 11th month, 10th child, and I'm a nurse! Where's my special powers? I know! Merope had sex with a mortal and lost her powers!

No wonder, I feel suicidal, frequently! It's my destiny!

Leolaia according to mythology. . .

Another explanation for the 'lost' star related to the myth of the Electra, an ancestress of the royal house of Troy. After the destruction of Troy, the grief stricken Electra abandoned her sisters and was transformed into a comet – everafter to be a sign of impending doom.

    God,

Would you send some more pretty meteor showers soon? The comets are nice, but, they are too slow.

Hey God, exploding comets are cool and all, but how about a local gamma-ray burst? Now that would be pretty darn swell.

How about a big untaxable influx of money into my bank account! (Without someone dying!)
