The infamous "MURDER LETTER" from Crooklyn shows that in a Florida Congo, the fact a brother was a murderer fleeing the authorities was not their main concern.
He had been seen smoking a cigarette!!!!! That was what they got in a flap about. Seems they care about human life as little as the Death God they sell books for.

I still can't believe that one. He was an MS as well before he left i'm sure now after thinking back a bit......he conducted to Book Study I was in quite a bit years back. He seems to be really enjoying life, even though his family doesn't think so. Of course they want him to be a cog in the JW system as well. I'm happy for him for making the break.

I just showed my daughter his email and she was kind of shocked. Her and I were close with this family, She knew about the one brother but not about this.....well, neither did I until today.
Thats both brothers from that family, that went to college, moved away and left the truth. I always liked them very much....very open minded, intelligent and creative. Glad they are not in the truth and lost lost in the WT religion.

the elders will change their responses when they start getting sued.
lawyers will start suing them for being the ones responsible. Watchtower will try to cleanse their hands as much as possible.
they are starting to shift money into other corporations. the main one will have little $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Hiding money away into various corporations does not stop a determined litigant from recovering damages though it costs !. In the UK (and in the US i think) there is the concept of tracing whereby if a corporation and or individual tries to hide assets, they can be traced and seized. If it can it can be shown that the corporate mind tried to do so with the intention of stopping them being seized. It can also be construed as a tacit admission of guilt.

here in the us, some hate mongering baptist religious congregation was sued by the relatives of a dead soldier that was gay.
the cong did some pretty nasty stuff at the funeral of that person.
courts gave plaintiff millions. if that congo does not have millions, it was said that the family could seize the church building.
Can you imagine how many congos in JWism could be taken if more lawsuits were filed???

I think that as has been said the society looks after itself rather than the victims, for which they have a measure of responsibility. They treat victims very badly hence they leave themselves open to being sued.

I do not see what there is to be sorry about. Google alerts will
highlight the same article to anyone who subscribed.
The report is accurate and are we to pretend that these things never
happened? What about the families who have children that will better
warned from the reports such as this. Ultimately the responsibility for
our children is that of us parents.

The list referred to is the email I sent with links to NBC nightly news article, Youtube video, The press release from the WT responding to the NBC story, a link to purchase Barbara Andersons CD, Secrets of Pedophilia In America at lulu.com , and Barbara Andersons response.
So the JW, although got the email in private, apparently posted it at the site, and did apologize for posting it.

But why would or should the Watchtower Society have a response to that?
What does the Watchtower Society have to do with that?
The problem is that everyone blames everyone else.
The victims go to the elders and they followed what they said and blamed
them for not being satisfied with the results. If it is a crime, they
should have
gone to the authorities themselves. Thus no elders or Society to blame.
They just want to play the blame game.
The problem is that the story and the apostate propaganda state that
because the accused
is or was a ministerial servant or elder, he had or has greater access
to children. And that statement is false.
Elders and servants do not have greater access to children than anyone
else. And if parents let their
children associate with ones because they are elders or servants more
freely, or do not listen to them,
then that is their fault. Not the fault of the religion.
But because those things happened, does not mean that it is right for
them to show pictures of
Kingdom Halls or the NWT or act like there is some plot or conspiracy.
The problem is that
a few bad apples are spoiling the whole bushel according to their
propaganda.
