Dont forget the green bean casserole and the deviled eggs--yum yum.

    All of it.

Homemade chicken soup, turkey, dressing and/or stuffing, cranberry sauce, garlic sour cream mashed potatos, mushroom gravy, butternut squash, maple syrup glazed carrots, cabbage rolls, spicy Hungarian sausage, and hazelnut cake for dessert.

What am I most thankful for?

Not having to stay up till 1 a.m. stuffing the turkey.

We went out this year !! YAY !!

But, I miss my famous meat stuffing.

The meal was great, and the service was excellent. Turkey, bread stuffing, squash.

We had great weather, in the 60's, good company, and lots to be thankful for, most of us, our health.

I know what my least favorite part is:

    cleaning up

    My favorite part:

    Possibly the sweet potato casserole.

OR the cooking part. I know I'm weird. I enjoy cooking.

    I know I'm weird. I enjoy cooking.

Then I am weird too because I LOVE cooking. To the point of considering it a hobby!

Yeah! Exactly. And around here, I don't get to cook some of the things I really love to cook because my hubby and I don't share much of the same tastes in the culinary part of life.

So, this was a treat today!

Boy, if we would have had his family over, I would have done the hor deuves (spelling) and whatnot. Lol.

We had 22 for dinner, turkey and a fine spread to go with it. I started two traditions for my wife's extended Jewish family- for dessert I make bananas foster- everyone really looks forward to the flaming rum and then afterwards we do video karaoke. I have a collection of 900+ songs on the older 12" Pioneer laserdisk format. A good time was had by all.
