    When I was a JW kid..Stuffing my face with turkey and talking about how this was "Not a ThanksGiving Turkey Dinner!".....Christmas was around the corner and we would have another turkey dinner..A "It`s Not a Christmas Turkey Dinner!".....Laughing Mutley...OUTLAW

    CC it would have to be the part where I finally got to sit down, but was so tired i wasn't hungry any more. Us worldly people and our damn customs!

    My hubby enjoyed Thanksgiving this year. He even helped!!!!! He made a killer fresh fruit salad and Sangria!! We'll see what happends at Christmas.

    I just rediscovered this slightly buried thread. It sounds as though a good time was had by all, with no lack of great food and spirits. This thread was certainly more successful than my "Turkey soup, anyone?" post last year. Stands to reason ...

    STUFFING. My mother made hers with cornbread and lots of little link sausages, chopped into bits.

    And giblet GRAVY. Lots of it. I'm with Erma Bombeck, "I come from a family where gravy is a beverage."
