Paragraph 5. That was the one that told us that Satan was trying to use our need to be approved to ensnare us. And, soon they are going to have to push that even harder. With the pedophile scandal in the mainstream now, householders are going to be more inclined to associate the Witlesses (especially the men) with pedophiles. This is going to be a huge blow in their reputations as individuals, even for those who are not pedophiles. Families are going to cringe away from them, both while they are out in field circus and when they meet at other places.
This is going to really isolate the Witlesses. They will have zero acceptance in society because of the pedophile scandal's going mainstream. But they will have to grin and bear it, since they believe it's what God requires. God evidently doesn't give a fxxx about people's being accepted. Then, if they make a mistake like smoking a cigarette, they will be cut off from the congregation. They will still be shunned by the world, being associated with pedophiles.
I see some horribly embarrassing times ahead for the Witlesses. The Watchtower Society is putting this on Satan. However, it was the Watchtower Society itself that created the problem by going to such great lengths to hide its pedophile problem (even worse than the Catholic church did!). Who in their right mind is going to boldly proclaim themselves to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses? I would be totally embarrassed to!
