I suppose "Death Becomes Her" isn't really a chick flick, but when no matter what you do to a woman, you just can't shut them up-falling down a flight of stairs (no pulse) , a cannon shot through the belly and STILL they keep yacking! Bruce Willis was really funny when his wife got up and started walking towards him with her head 180 degrees backwards.

Also reminds me of "Love Potion #9" farfugnugen! (chick flick? more or less)

I resent the term "chick flick" because...well because I like so many of 'em too! I prefer the term "romantic comedy." (Or RomCom, for short.)

    -While You Were Sleeping

    -Love Actually

-(Pretty much anything with Hugh Grant and/or Sandra Bullock)

-The Color Purple (I wasn't sure this was actually a chick flick until an above poster mentioned it.)

    -You've Got Mail

-High Fidelity (although it's not at all a chick flick, chicks usually completely dig it, because it gives them a good glimpse into the male mating psyche.)

I don't like the term "chick flick" either. All that does is place more boundaries around someone that they are supposed to identify with. I don't identify with anything, therefore I can quite easily enjoy anything.

I heard LMN referred to as the Estrogen channel. Works for me.

I've had to sit through Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Ya-Ya Sisters (why are all these women from the South? Don't we have women north of the Mason-Dixon line?). Titanic is OK once they get around to sinking the ship, and Kate Winslet is fun to look at.

Sleepless in Seattle was OK, if unintentionally funny in a couple of places if you know Seattle. You've Got Mail was the same people and the same plot all over again as far as I was concerned.

I hated Joy Luck Club and Memoirs of a Geisha.
