Does anyone remember that picture of the scarlet-colored beast WITH crowns?

I got my history a little mixed up in a post earlier tonight, trying to recall an error in a Watchtower picture a few years ago. The picture was of the scarlet-colored wild beast, but it had crowns. The Bible says this beast doesn't have crowns, it's the other one that has the crowns. Further investigation showed that the picture was just a scarlet-colored version of a picture of the OTHER beast lifted from another publication. Whoever PhotoShop'd it failed to delete the crowns.

Was there ever a thread on this? I can't find one, despite using our nifty new search tool.

Or am I, once again, just making stuff up?

    Thanks!

I don't remember the post, but the original picture you are refering to appeared in the Babylon the Great book.

We studied it in the bookstudy back in the 70's . I think it was a red colored book. If it wasn't in that book in may have been in the "Daniel book" . It was a light green book that we also studied at the book study.

Blondie, Scully, do you guys remember these books?

I vaguely recall a hot redhead riding a beast. The woman is false religion and the beast is world governments? Is that right? And the UN was part of the beast? Cant recall the other stuff coz it's 20 years since I ever looked and I probly mixed some of it up in all that stuff about the trumpet blasts of Revelation being identified and how one of them was a talk given in England in the 30's to some influential people. The idea that Revelation had predicted that talk with a trumpet blast sorta blew my mind a bit. I started to have lots of headaches about the utter plausibility of it all when it made links like that and I was already baptized and the wife was wanting me to help my kids get some tuition from me! I subconsciously tried to blank it all without trying - weird!

The Babylon the Great book, page 577, portrays "Babylon the Great rides the scarlet-colored wild beast," and the beast has no crowns.

The back cover of Then is Finished the Mystery of God shows the seven-headed dragon attacking the woman of God, and it has crowns.

Perhaps you are confusing the beasts? One is supposedly the UN (without the crowns), and the other is Satan (with the crowns).

Geez, I can't believe that I ever believed in dragons. LOL

Didn't they also have a similar picture in the Paradise Lost book?

I may not be remembering correctly because that is the publication my parents (bless their hearts, they meant well) used to terrorize me with when I was in kindergarten--a long time ago.

Ohhhh hmmmmmmm yeaaahhhhh, that was one of my "favorites". I remember that being more La la la, animals and people living together happily. But I think it was definitely around the same time. Speaking of which, why didn't they separate the young children from the heavier discussions?????????

The young children are being subliminally conditioned to this horseshit. They didn't know wtf it was about but they saw Mom and Dad eating it up, underlining their books and raising their hands in the study.
