That is one thing I really resent about the WTS. My JW friend has always loved Christmas and Birthdays, but now I have to make sure any gift I give her is not misconstrued as a gift for one of those occasions.
It's robbed us of something that was fun and special, and turned it into something to be suspicious of. They (WTS) really suck.

What an understanding, kind and loving father. You have taken your son's extenuating circumstances into consideration. I think God is a whole lot like you. Your son is very lucky. I wonder if there is some guy old enough to my dad, who is like you, who wants to adopt me.
