The JW's learn what the WTS wants them to believe. Otherwise, no.

I guess you could learn how to speak in front of people.

But as I remember we learned that by the 5th grade in public school.

So I guess there is a lot of brainwashing and disinformation going on at the kingdumb hall. Thats about it.

As for me, I learned how urgent it was for me to escape from JW-Land.

Actually, I have a sort of gift which I am very thankful for - I have the ability to actually play back music in my head! Any music I've been listening to previously (from a record album, CD, etc.), I can literally play the music back in my brain. This has been an invaluable mechanism I have used to cope with being stuck at the Kingdumb Hall. I can play music even if it is from a record album I haven't listened to in quite a few years, and the sound is perfect quality. This is no joke - I can actually do this. (Not quite one of those "gifts of the spirit" like speaking in tongues or something, but sure is a gift to me.)

I often wonder if anyone else can and does this.

For quite a while I used to pay attention to every word, but now, after discovering a "different take" on the whole thing, now I can use the time for my own little relaxation get-away. (I also have the ability to take quick naps in my chair.)

I have to go to a 2-day Grand Boasting Session this weekend, and this ability will certainly come in handy!
