I went to a library in one of the country's biggest universities and looked thru an enormous database for "anomalies". I was shocked to find
almost nothing, especially in physics. The idea that anomalies don't exist is exceedingly naive - and merits more consideration than
what conservative science is willing to attend to.
Sometime ago, some men won a Nobel prize for discovering that ulcers are caused by a bacterial infection. Apparently, this simple cause
was overlooked even in a field that is supposed to be highly empirical - namely medicine.
In summary, I think Feyerabend was closer to the truth of scientific discovery ( accident, politics, money, etc) than anyone cares to admit.
