Heck, Karl, that's news none of us wanted to hear! I was actually wondering how you'd be coping with Noah.

You've received some excellent advice here so don't be a martyr. ASK for help from LOVING friends, family and organisations around you. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm recovering from my illness and still very weak I'd have you and your baby round here. I know from experience what it's like to be left 'holding the baby'. When Claire went back to work after having Karl, my older son, I had to look after both him and Stephanie. Both were in nappies and it was like caring for twins. I coped, but was ALWAYS relieved when Claire got in from work

Hang in there. It DOES get better and you and Megan can get on with your lives together with Noah.

Love to Megan for a fast and permanent recovery.

    Best wishes,

    Ian

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Megan is back in the hospital.

Please heed the advice you've been given, Karl. We've all been there, done that.

Noah cries a lot because he's missing Megan and he senses your tension. You'd be amazed at the perception of those little things.

Hang in there. You can handle it. I'm glad to hear that you can sympathize with what we women have to endure. You are a man among men! This should draw you and Megan much closer.

I'm sending the three of you a cyber all the way from ALABAMA.

    Grace, peace, and love.

HEY! Wow, all these replies - its brilliant. Thank you everyone for your advice because its already paid off, for example i had Noah on our bed last night and he slept all the way through and is calmer today. I tidied our room as much as i didnt want to it make it a bit easier to get around etc and i'm glad i did, things are easier today than expected and right now Noah is asleep. As for your Support in kind words etc, again that helped because its nice to vent to sane people like yourselves...well almost sane lol. I wanted to reply to you all but as its Firefox i'm in at the moment i cant, but Ian thank you mate, i know you would do anything and its appreciated LOTS AND LOTS - same as you all, your all good people who've had various trials so the same principles apply, even if its a different scenario. Good News IS...Megan is feeling 80% better today and despite Specialists, Surgeons and all sorts of people seeing a fractured skull on Tuesday, Wednesday the believed it had gone and today as said, she is feeling much better. Now whether this is down to the prayer of my friends from Church or not i wont force my view on the non-believers among you but either way, after the nature of her fall i'd have been suprised that she got away with no serious injury... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :D Whether or not people can actually contact Megan i dont know on the ward but she is on Ward 3 - Tameside Hospital, they may or may not allow you to speak to her, although she does have my mobile on her.

:D thanks ian, yeah it went from Fractured Skull to Difference of Opinion to just a head injury with concussion and now she just feels tired and fed-up being stuck at hospital, so possibly coming back today!!

Glad to hear Megan's feeling better again today. Take good care of her when she gets home again - and you and Noah!

I've had a head injury myself in the past, but not with a fractured skull though. I don't want to put you on a downer but it could be months before she's fully recovered from headaches, dizziness, tiredness and memory lapses - just so you know ok?

As for the practical support, take whatever you can - maybe the folks from church can help - even if its 'just' going to get shopping for you. Don't be afraid to ask cos the worst they can do is say no!

Hi Karl. I sure hope Megan comes home today. I'm glad things are better for you today also.

Things always seem so much worse when you're lacking sleep, and at night time!! Remember, the more calm you remain, the calmer Noah will be. Having 3 children taught me that...

    Best wishes to you all.
