my first christmas tree, real or fake?

  Ohhhh D!! I am excited for you! My children are grown, so the whole process is a bit less of a party, but I still get excited to hit the lots, even if I end up with a cheapy from one of the hardware stores!! Make some hot cocoa or eggnog for when you get home and bring it in. There will most likely be swearing and sweat and frustration trying to get it to stand up straight, but in the evening when those are the only lights on, and the whole house smells like Christmas, it will all be worth it.

  mine is a fake tree - white at that. Would love the real deal but we don't seem to get them growing around my area. I usually select a theme for my christmas tree - this year it's the year of Fruit - I've got some really pretty glitzy decorations in the shape of pears and cherries
