Ok, Dansk and all you other fab guys out there.

Any suggestions for what to get Besty this year?

It's our first Christmas and it's his birthday on Boxing Day!!

Tell me what you would really love from your beloved this year.

and any suggestions from you girls out there would be appreciated too - men are so difficult to buy for!

(and I don't want to get him cufflinks/socks/cologne/ipod/camera - he has enough of those already)

For me there is no "her" this year, so I don't have to worry about it.

In the past, my ex-girlfriend knew I loved going to Formula 1 auto races, and bought me two tickets to the USGP. If he is into professional sports, a ticket or two to a game would probably be appreciated.

Most guys love electronic toys too. If some one were buying for me, I would love a new ipod. (Hey, women of JWD - I can be bought!)

    Hope this helps!

How about a Clarins for men skincare gift box?

Can you tell that I work for Clarins?

Our xmas men's gift set is lovely - a navy blue washbag containing a Moisture Balm, Face Wash, Shave Gel and Hair and Body Shampoo. It retails at £34.

I can't believe I'm still selling on my day off.

Like I said on the other thread, it's difficult.http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/147744/1.ashx

Something to do with Besty's hobby, whatever it is, should always go down well. In the past I've been bought good, thick shirts and wooly jumpers for winter, CDs, DVDs, books, an electric shaver, boxes of chocolates - yes boxes of chocolates (I love the stuff) - Irish whisky (I don't normally drink, but that stuff is lovely) and I've thoroughly appreciated them all.

    Love,

    Ian

My ear and nose hair trimmer broke yesterday so I'd be happy to get a new one.

    Hey FF:

My ear and nose hair trimmer broke yesterday so I'd be happy to get a new one.

I've just started to notice what an old timer I'm becoming, with hair growing out of my ears and nose

Don't know if this is something your hubby might want, but mine asked for a TomTom Navigation system for his truck.

When I buy for my hubby I try to keep his hobbies in mind.

He loves working around the house, so tools are always good. He likes to read books by authors like Dan Brown, so books are good. Also his favorite teams are Washington Redskins (football) and Redsocks (baseball) so logo jerseys, pajamas, hats and that sort are good.

I also like to get him cologne that not only he would like but that I like the smell of, for those romantic evenings at home.

I found other men in my family have enjoyed subscriptions to their favorite mags like sports illustrated or muscle. Also gift cards to men's department stores, so they can pick out their own gift. And grooming/shaving kits are usually enjoyed too. Hope this helps, Lilly

Tools. drill, set of wrenches (apparently they all loose these), there's all kinds of gift sets at Home Depot and Lowes. I'm told they can't get enough flashlights (the good kind, not the cheap ones). Welding machine or accessories for that, sautering devices and wood burning kits. Jig saws, other kind of saws.

At least this is what my dad and brothers & bro-in-law like. They are all kind of handy like that. Hope this helps.
