Having just joined the site, this is my first post. Although I am not a member of the Jehovah Witnesses, in the past, two members called at our home, and a conversation started. I have never forgotten that day, and so that is the reason for my visit. One's spiritual life is important to me, as I know it is to many of you.

Many thanks for your welcoming message. I suppose what I remember most about the visit, was the enthusiasm and genuine belief that the two JW members imparted. Also, the way they gave their time to discussing their faith, in the knowledge that I might not be joining at the end of the day. For them to have taken the time to discuss things, with no guarantee that someone will be joining, is such a generous thing to do. Finally, and by no means least, they were very warm and pleasant people, which made it a joy to share time with them.
My main indoor hobbies include painting and drawing. Sometimes I dabble in a bit of writing. There are two more poems, which may one day appear on the internet.
I think it is very neat that you are exploring your spiritual side. You might enjoy some of these sites:

Myself, I would never join the Witnesses. They are pleasant enough at the door, but they don't treat their own members, especially wrongdoers, very well.
