Judge not lest ye be judged. Seems there is plenty of perfect people here. I wish I could say the same for me. Freezing is not something I would wish on anyone, no matter how messed up one would be.

Deductive reasoning would say that the ban was presumably overturned. BTW, you have mail. And you still have borg mentality in you if you think you should not give a person a ride in freezing weather, Catholic, JW, Movementarian or not. So what if I'm not a golden boy in the family. Nobody should abandon a family member like that when they're in clear trouble.
But anyway, again, you have mail.

That is disgusting. But typical, sorry to say.
Last night I received a PM from a JW who basically said "go back or else". I notified the mods and his account has been canceled.
All I could think of was: "you insult me and expect me to go back?"
They don't realize how ugly they are, yet they call themselves "loving".

I totally believe this, and they make me sick with their self-righteousness.

My mother did this with my son, who was 10 years old at the time. I'd enrolled him in Karate class, and his practice was 4 miles away. My mom was supposed to pick him up after while I was at work. Well, when I got home, I'd learned that she didn't pick him up because she would be "condoning" Karate. And my 10 yo son had to walk down a long dark highway all the way home alone!! This was before cell phones.
BUT.....to show you how hypocritical they are, my mom wrote for the Georgetown Times newspaper, and they asked her to write an article about this very same Karate class. James Pushia was the teacher. (Sensei) She wrote the article and praised the guy for being so good with kids, and being a role model in the community! At the same time making her grandson walk home alone.
