  You got me thinking... so I went looking.

  I found this :

  It's still the usual Watchtower speak as they use the word "evidently" rather than definitive language.

  So basically, somewhere around 144,000 servants of Christ, living in Heaven, at the source of all truth, are sending down messages to the governing body and they still don't have it right? Why would there need to be any more changes? Why wouldn't they just send down the correct info, directly from the source, once for all time and be done with it? Hmmm, sounds a bit suspicious, no?

  With respect to the OP, insane-in-the-brain Clayton Woodworth claimed that Pastor Russell was still directing the Watchtower Society from beyond the grave:

  "Pastor Russell was a man of unusual modesty. Great men usually are modest. The examination of the contents of this book will disclose the fact ... that the earthly creature made prominent therein above all others is the messenger of the Laodicean Church -- 'that wise and faithful servant of the Lord' -- CHARLES TAZE RUSSELL. ...[T]hough Pastor Russell has passed beyond the veil, he is still managing every feature of the Harvest work. 'The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is the greatest corporation in the world, because from the time of its organization until now the Lord has used it as His channel through which to make known the Glad Tidings' " (Finished Mystery, 1917, pp. 5, 144).

  But after Rutherford died, Woodworth denied believing the same thing with respect to him:

  "Q. Do you subscribe to the doctrine that Mr. Rutherford is still supervising this organization? A. That Mr. Rutherford is still supervising this organization? Q. Yes. May I just supplement that and ask you if you agree with this doctrine as put forth by the Society, and correct me if I misstate it, as to the resurrection. A. I believe that Mr. Rutherford has been resurrected, but as far as his having control over the Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society, that would be silly" (Moyle Trial Transcript, 5/21/1943, p. 963).

  It's good to know that there were still a few things that Woodworth found too "silly" to believe, even if it happens to be something he had believed earlier.

  Leolaia: That explains it. They really were channeling Rutheford. It is one thing to speculate as a human being. As you know, I must confess to doing that. But, to believe that your ideas are being placed in your head by invisible spirits is un-sane. Lo and behold they have actually published a teaching now that says this sort of thing is going on! It appears that Gregg Stafford and Robert King see themselves as specially chosen by God. The tree continues to add branches.

  Nothing new....WT was saying this all along. Russell was supposed to communicate after he died, and so on.

  But for sure those who communicate are demons. Yes WT is a demon oriented cult

  Justhuman: I think the problems are "just human" not "demons". Belief in demons is part of the superstitious web of ideas that gets you trapped into listening to imaginary voices in your head. There IS a devil and it is the projected evil that is inside each of us.
