Yea... we would have a chaperone he sister or brother or whatever. That never stopped us from getting to know each other a lot better behind the scenes. I'll just say we called in at least once a week. haha!

Reading some of these experiences with chaperones makes me soooo happy that I didn't date as a JW. That's just too much pressure while trying to get to know someone better.
By the time I had begun the whole dating thing, I had already faded and was accountable to no one for my wherabouts.

I don't even consider it dating anymore when it comes to the JW way of handling things. How can you REALLY get to know someone when you have someone in an earshot of you? Then the frustration comes along which leads many to rush and get married. I'm so glad I didn't.
