Good luck Dawg. Music was my first love and hope you find your Lady Willpower.

Dear Charles: I deeply appreciate your retraction on the "coward" issue. It shows a depth of understanding and empathy that you did not have when you first came to us.

You have really grown and have been man enough to show us how much.

I said before that you came back to us after your last departure, "gentler and kinder". I feel you leave us all the more so.

Stay true to yourself and your unique personality but remember that kindness will always reap the greatest and most lasting rewards.

I can say this to you now, knowing full well you trully understand.

    All the best to you,

    Hey Dawg,

I'm gonna miss you, my fellow southerner and football fan!

Everything you said in your above post is true. I too empathize with kids who are born into this mess. The "truth" really does a number on us, huh? Anytime I look back, it makes me really angry to imagine all the things that COULD HAVE been. At least you are moving forward. Like you, I am amazed at the strength of the people here. Some stories I've read here have really made me need to stop whining about my little problems.

Good luck with your music. Do you have a band or are you solo? Do you play in any clubs? I'll be watching for you to post the info when it is ready. Can't wait to hear it. Bluegrass, right?

Oh, and Open Mind, that "Bama sucks" thread would surely get my fingers flying! LOL.

Dawg, I didnt know you were into bluegrass. Is that true?

Anyway, I would still love to come down to Atlanta for a day just to visit and meet you. Maybe the friday after Christmas?

Well I hope you are still reading this post, and I wish you the best.

I too wish I could pull myself away from this board, I would be able to devote more time to activism, instead of arguing politics and sexuality.

Good luck and talk with you later,

    dawg,

Everyone has to do things the way they feel is best for them when it comes to leaving the WTS.

I never agreed with the "in your face" style, because it would cause many more problems than I already have, however, your style was an idea that some might ponder over and decide that it was better to" just get it over with". In other words you might have changed someone's mind for the better.

Anyone who says if you need a place to stay, just come on down to Georgia and I'll help you get on your feet, but no freeloading, is a very good person. That's you.

    Thanks for your passion.

    I think you'll be back.

bye dawg - hope you do come back to visit. Personally I'm a bit of a plodder, very very cautious and I really appreciate being given a nudge every now and then from those of you who are 'sons of thunder' . Please don't underestimate the effects of the 'in your face' style of doing things.
