There is an early 50's Watchtower that speaks of going to the point of killing its enemies (I think it had reference to apostates) if it weren't for breaking the law of Caesar. I've never seen any new light on this -- meaning that it continues to be their stance . Look out if they ever become our Caesar.
I concede there must be a blurry line here. There is speech (orally or in print) that is angry and there is speech that is inciteful. The article above refers to justified hatred to Watchtower enemies, quoting a scripture or two to back them up.
Personally, I despise someone -- a person or a group -- which incites to hatred. I know it when I see it and many of you do as well.
In our U.S. there are recently created laws that address hate crimes which have more severe penalties than similar crimes where hatred is not seen to be involved. I don't know how one goes about proving hatred during the act of some crime but I guess it's being done. Nor do I know how far such hate crime enforcement will go when it comes to hate writing and speaking out of the mouths of cults.
