Without a doubt, time flies by much faster now that I don't have to prepare and go to meetings.
Does time fly by faster now that you don't go to meetings anymore?

Time always flies when you're having fun. Fun and JW meetings shouldn't even be used in the same sentence ... oops!

There's more time to do other things now without the JW meetings, field service, preparation time etc which is great. It should mean that there is much more time but it doesn't always seem like it and I think it's because enjoyable time always passes quickly and work and drudgery go on endlessly.

I've noticed the years go by faster now that I celebrate holidays.

time definitely goes by faster when having fun, you are so absorbed in what you are doing that time doesn't matter. I had a job where time zoomed by it seemed anyway. Often times got to work and then told its time to go home and clock out, I had been so busy and so occupied that i hadn't even taken a break or even gone to lunch time just shot by. I at times thought well it must be break time, then looked at the clock and saw that I had 3-5 minutes before clocking out, I enjoyed that kind of work, not drudgery at all. Going to meetings makes it seem like time just drags by, the same ole same ole, nothing new under the sun, and we the anointed, are the greatest. shades of Ali if you ask me.

the stress level has certainly taken a downturn since there is no rush to get kids fed, dressed and in the car with ALL the accoutrement and paraphenalia necessary for a meeting.... time that used to be devoted to that circus is now spent encouraging the kids to do things that enhance their lives....
time is relative and relatively speaking..... not trying to wedge life between mtgs, study, service has made it all the more enjoyable.....

The last several months really have flown by for me since I severed all JW activities. It seems like just yesterday that I quit.

To answer your question, I heard life is like a roll of toilet papper, the closer you get to the end the faster it goes. We were all younger when we were witnesses. The wac tower took our best years.

I am a watch-a-holic. That is, I loves watches. Just got two more yesterday (gift from my mom) and I get tell you .... time just goes by on those watches like regular time goes by
