Thanks coco, I appreciate the warm welcome. This is the one place where I KNOW the people can understand me. We are all different and we all are heading in different directions, but the one thing we have in common is bigger than all of us put together.

Hi Never,
Maybe reading your ubiquitous posts - and they are GOOD! - prompted my query. You find these terrific articles on subjects I've never before considered. My brain hurts while reading them, but that's really quite all right. It's simply all so new to me. I must have more patience - isn't that some kind of virtue or fruit of something or other?
May it be duly noted here that your manner toward others is kind, generous and charitable. Those dealing with inner struggles may not see it as such, but, when they have grown, they may very well thank you.
Gratefully,
CoCo

Greetings:

Yes, I imagine it has a lot to do with personal interests. JWD has exposed me to WT taboos that are really fascinating subjects for thought and research. Can't be good at everything, of course, but I'm trying.
What finger was that? - 'I hate when my hand does that.' - Goose, in "Top Gun."
Muchas Gracias!Blue V:
What a swell illustration about a quieter and gentler era. I went on a walk along Apple Orchard Lane today and I quite easily conjured up thoughts of an earlier, sweeter time, brought on by sights and smells wafting over me. It was so chilly you could've snapped me in two like a twig. But it was worth braving the elements for that moment I am now sharing for the first time - with you! Bless you .. and thanks for those links. Will check them out.

You words are like a gentle summer breeze that stirs up memory's of a time when men were intelligent wise and kind . women were gracious and demure and children laughed in the sun.
Wow, those are my sentiments exactly! You know how much I care for and respect you. Alot of things go way over my head here, but it's a learning process, and things take time. I've learned so much from many here, especially you CoCo, and changed alot, for the better. I appreciate everyone's contributions!

Good morning, Mrs. Bee!
Absolutely - it truly takes time. I only now left off reading a link Never has supplied on Apocalypticism and its deep, deep roots. C. T. Russell was a plagiarist, pure and simple. Well, maybe not so pure. Given the implicit trust I had formerly put in WTB&TS research on Bible authentication, I could not have realized the true origins of the books of Daniel and Revelation.
You're correct: so much is over our heads, but I find that patience and determination are key to my making sense of the plethora of knowledge available to us.
Thank you for your kind response.
Love,
CoCo

There are subjects on which I can speak, but will I ever be able to understand and comment upon the "deeper things of JWD"?
Personally, I cannot comment on heavy doctrinal subjects. But some days, a simple "happy birthday" to a poster makes me happy:-)
Understanding and commenting upon the "deeper things of JWD" seem irrelevant.
Posting from your heart is what really matters.
And that, dear CoCo, you have developed into a fine art.

CoCo- I'm the type of poster who feels I don't have to comment on all the various subjects that come on board anyway. If I find a thread I'm interested in, feel I know some about it and can make a contribution to the subject. I will respond. If I find I don't understand or know about a subject, I just move on to another one I'm interested in. Kind of like changing channels on the T.V. we have our options as to what we want to respond to. Unlike when we were witnesses and they " forced " us to respond to everything that occured in the cult. Just my humble opinion on this discussion.
But I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy your feedback and feel you have a lot of years experience to contribute to the board , so by all means don't sell yourself short bro ! You are great with your takes ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
