They Jews have moved on, see for example they don't ban blood transfusions because "savings lives is above the law" as they put it. Yet the JWs took a very ancient Judaic law on blood and used it to ban transfusions with the result that thousands of naive dubs died due to it over the years. They can never see the common sense fact that saving lives is above the law and insist that God would rather see a JW dead rather than accepting some voluntarily donated blood from a well meaning fellow human.
No wonder why many see the JWs as way out creepy screwballs.
I was angry at God. Burn's experiences.

Ah, I'd always wondered about your age. Thanks for adding that to your details.
I'm glad you had the freedom to discover what to believe yourself. Remember: Don't mould your kids too much (your words, though I agree 100%). See you in our next battle! Muhaha...

I had now found myself in dead end menial employment. I was in my mid 20's.
OK...
I started working 2 and 3 jobs, and I went to the university, graduating with a Bachelor's degree and a 4.0 GPA, Summa Cum Laude, baby. I also lost 90 lbs and was in the best physical condition of my life, benching 250 and running 10 miles at a stretch.
And then we got pregnant.
I started posting here last year
Pretty busy time between "mid 20's" and now!
