Top of the list for me was being stopped from doing the Engineering Degree course at University.
For good measure, the bunch of ultra-fanatics I was with pre-1975 even succeeded in getting me to throw in my apprenticeship.
- fortunately, I was able to pick that up again later, although the price I paid was high.
Aside from that, at 16 years of age I was a promising long distance runner - but I never dared even dream of pursuing athletics!

I regret the self-righteous pity I used to have for people when we met them on the ministry and felt we were always so right.
Other than that there is very little I regret. I'm not the regretting type. I think that being a witness, despite everything, has still made me a pretty decent human being and I have learnt a lot about myself from not going any more, too. I'm definitely one who learns from all experiences, no matter what they are. -

Going to college - no question about it. I ended up having a pretty good job anyway (Systems Analyst), but I would have had more opportunity and quicker had I gone to college. At 53, I am planning to take a few classes, just because I feel I will be more will rounded with a few college classes under my belt. I have my own business now, and don't plan to get a degree, just want to be more well educated.

- I quit the high school track team I was on (I told my parents I was in the ministry) because my name was in the paper and I was terrified someone would find out my terrible secret sin of winning a race.
