Greenland was called Greenland as an advertising ploy.
It was covered with ice when the Vikings got there.
They called it Greenland to get people to move there
to colonize it.
Disturbing news regarding Arctic Melting.

The non-agarian indigenous people continued to prosper because of being able to live diversely enough despite the increase in colder temps. The History Channel did a two hour special about the mini-ice age and covered the viking settlements and why they are no longer there.

Kudra, aside from yourself most people here don't care about my personal opinions or feelings. We should be far more concerned with history, facts and research. I am not a climatologist nor a historian that is why I post links vs talk about my feelings. It's the same reason I do not listen to Al Gore. When it comes to science I am far more interested in the facts then the feelings.
Whether a posted topic is for or against global warming I end up learning alot that I probably would never have bothered to reseach in the first place. I value all discussion about it because I benefit either way.
