  After devoting 30 years to the WTS, I too, feel like this. ALL the relatives I warned about the "big A", and all the magazines, brochures and tracts I handed out between 1969-1999......not to mention letters I wrote to friends and relatives not in my area....and here we are in nearly 2008 and the WTS is waffling again on this!

  Yeah....we know how you feel....and we are all in the same boat! Just be thankful that you AWOKE! up to the fact that the WTS is a total fraud and you do not HAVE TO cling onto every word they print for "guidance" any more!

  The Bright side is that you didn't wind up in a suicide cult .Unless of course you needed a blood transfusion .I do pitty those people that bought into all those lies throughout the years .It's amazing with all that tacking with the wind the whole thing didn't capsize .

  I was very angry back in 1995, when 1 year later, they re defined a generation. Why didn't they do that in October 1994. I guess they had to wait 1 year to figure out what to say.....

  I want to sue. Just how Discreet are these people that have brainwashed me millions of other kids that we will not die!!! And my parents wont get old either. That is really messin me up now that my parents are retired, and I am pushin 50. That was really drilled into me and I would say it was very INDESCREET. Maybe a class action suit. These guys don't have a clue about figuring out the bible, just like all the other religions..........................................oompa

  I remember I even questioned the 1914 dogma whilst studying and got the immediate ,"the society says" BS ,My understanding was that the 144k alive in 1914 would die just before the end of the world . I see it as saying that the generation expecting the sign or christs presence would see the restoration of pure worship not that they would get eternal life. Son of a gun if they didn't pull the switcheroo after I leave the study group.

  We all made an ass of ourselves. We were all fooled. The beauty of discussion forums like this is that we can openly admit that we were fooled and, then, instead of lamenting forever we can do something to help others avoid being fooled.
  
  Despite being fooled, I have a positive outlook, and am also very fortunate to live in the information age. A lot of people went to their graves completely fooled, or found out they were fooled too late.
  
  We are all in the same boat. Let's celebrate the fact we came out.
