Barbie, it depends on your motivation for giving money in the first place. Do you give it in order to get something in return or do you give out of genorosity of heart?
Also, do you know the personalities of the people you're giving to? Do they continually ask you for cash help? If so, maybe it's time to tell them to sort out their own finances rather than using you as funding.

Yes I do, I love them, and I think they use that. There always asking for money. They tell me sad
stories and I feel bad for them. Why can't they say thank you, or give me a card. That is all I ask, Is that to much to ask.

If you feel you are being taken advantage of, then you are probably correct.
If you don't receive a thank you, then you probably should not give them money a second time.
And no, a thank you card is not too much to ask.
