now it's time for happy new year - I think Christmas is nearly over for everyone except maybe Hawaii and other places out in the middle of the Pacific...I had a nice dinner with friends, delivered some fruitcakes, had my annual martini, it was all great! Santa brought me books, and fruitcake (one of those things where if you can't take it you shouldn't be dishing it out).
