There isn't anything wrong with going to a church IMO. I now realise that whichever one it is, it won't have exclusive rights to God and is not a requirement for salvation.

Yes, but not sure which, I only know it won't be a Catholic church.
I would love to attend another church. I want to know what other people think about God and life. That surely will help me broad my horizons and understand them better. Don't you think?

I have no desire whatsoever to attend any church. I don't want to dwell on whether or not there is a god out there and if I am making him/her happy. Its too much work and I no longer want to be controlled by fear.
However, I would like to learn how to mediate so I can be more relaxed and achieve inner peace.

When I escaped the tower, I tried some churches, Baptist, Assemblies of God, They had the best music, guitars drums and some tounge wagging get down sanctifying. I've been to catholic churches and methodist and some new age churches that I cant recall at the moment. They were nice.
But the bottom line is chuch is time intensive. Once I escaped the tower why jump back into the bondage of another false shepard?
This is the information age you can google and research everything.
Why worship someone who there is no historical record of who is just a modern day representation of the sun.
Peace of mind?
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is many peoples deffinition of insanity.
church = holding your mind captive
no thianks ... been there done that, got the t-shirt and the mouse pad
Going to a Church doesn't mean you have to join one.
If you did want to join one though, make sure you're allowed to disagree.
No, never.

I love my little country church in Kentucky, I cant imagine life without my church, but most importantly my life without Jesus.
I dont have a church around here that I attend, I just havent found one that is similar to mine in Kentucky. FreeWill Baptists are a minority around here, and the few churches that are here are a little more modern than what Im used to.
The highlight of my life is going home and attending church with my relatives in Kentucky. No other experience on this planet can give me that warm feeling of peace.
Im thankful to be free of the JW cult, Im now free to live a "normal" life, and cant ever imagine myself getting ensnared by another cult.
2 things I look for in a church are the King James Bible preaching, and the old red backed hymnal---no powerpoint, no modern praise music, just plain old fashioned Baptist church.
