Once I know what the task is, if I agree to do it, my word is my bond.
But I don't make agreements to do things until I know what they are.
Agreed, I never break a promise, but that's mainly because I don't make very many promises. Especially not if I don't know what it is.

It is not a prank call that I am thinking of.
It would depend on what you wanted me to do. If I chose not to I would keep my mouth shut.
