What little things really make you happy?
For me, it's:
New socks.
Sleeping in my own bed, after I have been working on the road for 6 weeks.
That first drink after along days work. (is that bad?)
knowing that I don't have to fly or go to the airport for 2 weeks.
Thanks.
BadChad.
It's the little things.

When out of the blue one of my teenage sons walks up to me, gives me a huge hug and says "I love you mom" (sometimes but not always followed by "can I do or can I have.........)
And of course brand new socks!!

Beautiful sleeping socks from bath and body works.
Getting into bed after a long day and getting spooned by hubby.
The smell of my son's head.
A good cup of coffee, early in the morning, by myself.

My morning cup of coffee, riding alone in my truck on my way to work, NPR on the radio and a 20 minute drive through beautiful Vermont countryside.
How my body feels all the rest of the day after an intense, early morning workout.
Cuddling on the couch with a good movie, holding hands.
A good drink in the evening when I'm ready to settle down.
Flannel sheets in the winter.
The laughter of my kids or grandkids.
Late night music on the stereo by candlelight, talking and listening.
The list could go on...
