More here for comradery than anything else now. I don't care to look at threads about doctrines and such, waste of time for me.

Eventually I would love to be able to help others... but I have to be completely healed myself first. I'm going through cycles, but the cycles don't seem to be sinking so low for so long anymore...

AWAKE&WATCHING

Move on and let go. ( get rid of the baggage - with the support here it's easier )

Help others. ( less fluff and more substance )

Be happy. ( well that just comes from helping others )

Thanks for the kind words, all. Well, at least we are making a difference helping people realize JWs aren't the TRUTH! And if the powers that be decide to give us our privileges back, so be it. Sounds so JW, doesn't it?

I have no lofty goals at all. I post when I'm in the mood, and I don't when I'm not. When I want to complain about the watchtower this is the place to do it.

MINCAN- I too don't like doctrinal threads either. I've been done with witness doctrine for a long time- they bore me. I have met a lot of nice people too here- like you dude! You've come a long way in a short period of time my friend, be proud of what you are accomplishing , my wife and I are proud to know you !

AWAKE & WATCHING- Moving on is good, sis. Helping others is too. And happiness is certainly priceless ! Great stuff !

MINIMUS- That is the cool thing we all are able to do here on JWD is make a difference helping people either get out of the witness cult, or keep them informed so they don't ever join it in the first place !

Goals for JWD? I don't have any posting goals.

My goal is to meet some of my fellow posters face-to-face.
I did it a little bit last year. I want to do more.

JWD is good and all, but in 2007, I fully realized that fellow
ex-JW's are a great help- better in person than in cyberspace.

I may not make it to your mountain hideaway, Flipper, in 2008.
One day, though.
