Let us, therefore, approach with freeness of speech to the throne of undeserved kindness, that we may obtain mercy and find undeserved kindness for help at the right time. - Heb. 4:16.
As Christians, we can expect ridicule, persecution, and other trials. (Matt. 24:9; 2 Pet. 3:3) However, we know that Jehovah sees all things, hears our prayers and, at the right time, will straighten out matters according to his will. (Rom. 12:17-21) Therefore, rather than fear our opposers, we fear God and look to him to deliver us. Like David, we do not avenge ourselves, nor do we compromise righteous principles to avoid suffering. In the end, this brings happiness. But how? David's fear of Jehovah did more than just restrain him from doing wrong. It strengthened him to act decisively and wisely under difficult circumstances. Though distressed, David did not despair. (Prov. 24:10) His fear of God moved him to turn to Jehovah, and he "took to strengthening himself by Jehovah."-l Sam. 30:1-20. w06 8/1 2:8, 12
Job 29:2.
When calamity strikes, who does not long for the former days? In Job's case, he had lived a good life, seemingly sheltered from misfortune. Prominent people respected him and sought his counsel. (Job 29:5-11 ) He led a blameless life because he worshipped God. "There is no one like him in the earth," Jehovah said, "a man blameless and upright, fearing God and turning aside from bad." (Job 1:1, 8) But despite Job's moral integrity, tragedies ripped apart his comfortable lifestyle. All he had worked for disappeared, and his true mettle was tested by pain, anguish, and frustration. Of course, Job is by no means the only servant of God to have suffered a personal catastrophe. Many Christians today can easily relate to his experience. In such instances, remembering Job's ordeal can help us to face tragedy and can teach us to be more empathetic toward others who suffer. w06 8/ 15 1:2-4
When [Jesus] was being reviled, he did not go reviling in return. When he was suffering, he did not go threatening.-1 Pet. 2:23.
When encouraging Christians to be submissive even to harsh, unjust authorities of this world, Peter explained: "In fact, to this course you were called, because even Christ suffered for you, leaving you a model for you to follow his steps closely." (l Pet. 2:21) Submission in the face of ridicule and abuse may be viewed as evidence of weakness. Yet, that is not how Jesus viewed it. Some who watched Jesus suffer became believers, at least to some degree, including a robber on a stake next to him and the army officer viewing the execution. (Matt. 27:38-44, 54; Mark 15:39; Luke 23:39-43) Similarly, Peter indicated that some unbelieving husbands-even those who are abusive-will become Christians after observing the submissive conduct of their wives. We have seen evidence of this happening today. w07 2/15 2:11, 12
Rev. 20:6.
When did the first resurrection begin? In a vision, the identity of the "great crowd" was revealed to John by one of the 24 elders, and these elders represent the 144,000 joint heirs with Christ in their heavenly glory. (Rev. 4:4; 7:9-15; Luke 22:28-30) Since John was still a man on earth when the elder spoke to him, John must represent anointed ones on earth. Thus, it seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today. The correct identity of the great crowd was revealed to God's anointed servants on earth in 1935. If one of the 24 elders was used to convey that important truth, he would have had to be resurrected to heaven by 1935 at the latest. That would indicate that the first resurrection began sometime between 1914 and 1935. w07 1/1 2:5, 10, 11
I guess this was the proof of concept phase it might work.

As Christians can expect to have freeness of speech but as Jehovah's Witnesses we should realize that our service to the faithful and discrete slave means that we should refrain from speaking our minds on spiritual matters. Ignoring this advice would could cause others to stumble, and learn that we are a book publishing company with no real ties to any god. Remember the example of David he committed a great sin and covered it up until Jehovah made him confess his sin. We as Jehovah's people should learn from the example of David.

We must remember is this time of Satan's media attacks that there was some good that we Jehovah's people did long ago. That we are just like Job we didn't do anything to deserve this. Well maybe pledging allegiance to the UN, and hiding Pedophiles that is beside the point. We like Job are not being punished like we deserved to be. We all inherited Adam's sin and therefore we should just be glad that Jehovah had his son commit suicide by cop for us. So we may live in paradise like the garden of Eden, only this time Jehovah will get it right.

Remember we should not be like this loving brother who embarrassed us before the US Supreme court.
Chaplinsky v. State of New Hampshire, 315 U.S. 568 (1942) was a case decided by the Supreme Court of the United States, in which the Court articulated the fighting words doctrine, a limitation of the First Amendment's guarantee of freedom of speech.
In late November 1941, Walter Chaplinsky, a Jehovah's Witness was using the public sidewalk as a pulpit in downtown Rochester, passing out pamphlets and calling organized religion a "racket." After a large crowd had begun blocking the roads and generally causing a scene, a police officer removed Chaplinsky to take him to police headquarters. Along the way he met the town marshal, who had earlier warned Chaplinsky to keep it down and avoid causing a commotion. Upon meeting the marshal for the second time, Chaplinsky attacked him verbally. The complaint against Chaplinsky charged that he had shouted: "You are a God-damned racketeer" and "a damned Fascist" and was arrested. Chaplinsky admitted that he said the words charged in the complaint, with the exception of the name of the Deity.
For this, he was arrested under a New Hampshire statute preventing intentionally offensive speech being directed at others in a public place. Under NH.'s Offensive Conduct law (chap. 378, para. 2 of the NH. Public Laws) it is illegal for anyone to address another person with "any offensive, derisive or annoying word to anyone who is lawfully in any street or public place...or to call him by an offensive or derisive name."
Chaplinsky was fined, but he appealed, claiming the law was "vague" and infringed upon his First and Fourteenth Amendment rights to free speech.
The Court, in an unanimous decision, upheld the arrest. Writing the decision for the Court, Justice Frank Murphy advanced a “two-tier theory” of the First Amendment. Certain “well-defined and narrowly limited” categories of speech fall outside the bounds of constitutional protection. Thus, “the lewd and obscene, the profane, the libelous,” and (in this case) insulting or “fighting” words neither contributed to the expression of ideas nor possessed any “social value” in the search for truth.

How can this be the first resurrection? The bible recorded several before this one. Let us just go with it for a second. The second thing that is mentioned is that these ones don't have to worry about a second death aka permadeath in the gaming community. So I guess they can lead a second rebellion with no worries then. Which would give credence to the last part. They will rule as kings immortal undead kings of their own domain on earth.

Matt. 28:19, 20.
Matt 28: 19 ,20 = 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU . And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things
The Bible is one of the most widely distributed books in the world. At least part of it has been translated into more than 2,300 languages. Over 90 percent of earth's inhabitants have it available in their native tongue. Millions of people read a portion of the Bible every day. Thousands of religious groups claim to base their teachings on the Bible, but they do not agree on what it teaches. Adding to the confusion are the strong disagreements between members of the same religion. Some have doubts about the Bible, its origin, and its value. Actually, the Bible contains God's powerful word, or message, for mankind. (Heb. 4:12) As Jehovah's Witnesses, we therefore want people to learn what the Bible teaches. We are delighted to carry out the commission that Jesus Christ gave his followers when he spoke the words of today's text. w07 1/15 1:1-3
This is one where the juicy parts were in the watchtower comments.
I can agree the bible is the most widely available books, like most other holy books. Also many of people have painstakingly translated it into just about every tongue out there. Though to say Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones holding to their claim of following the bible is a joke.
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, and New York follows the money, not the bible. Where are the JW charities at least the ones that don't make them money. Don't get me wrong the people the JW's control are very charitable but that does not cover the WBTSoPNY responsibility to help the needy.
Why doesn't the WBTS start by founding a real school of higher learning like the Mormons have. So their followers can finally get decent jobs and help pay WBTS bills better. Also maybe WBTS might actually have literature that actual makes you think, rather than making you stop thinking.
The Bible is one of the most widely distributed books in the world. At least part of it has been translated into more than 2,300 languages. Over 90 percent of earth's inhabitants have it available in their native tongue.
The books making up the Bible were selected and edited during the early days of the Roman Empire. The sheer force and breadth of the Empire is the main factor as to why the Bible didn't recede into the annals of history. Popularity does not mean something is right or true.
Millions of people read a portion of the Bible every day.
And millions of others read the Koran, or the Internet, or many other sources of information. Looking at the world as a whole, no one book is dominant as a source of information. But the internet is.
Thousands of religious groups claim to base their teachings on the Bible, but they do not agree on what it teaches. Adding to the confusion are the strong disagreements between members of the same religion.
That's because the Bible is confusing and contradictory. It invites disagreement and argument.
Some have doubts about the Bible, its origin, and its value.
The more you study the history of the Bible, the more you can see that it is inconsistent, and that its God is jealous and hateful.
Actually, the Bible contains God's powerful word, or message, for mankind. (Heb. 4:12)
If the Bible had a powerful message, it would be clearly understood. There are so many different interpretations of what the message is, that it has lost its power.
As Jehovah's Witnesses, we therefore want people to learn what the Bible teaches. We are delighted to carry out the commission that Jesus Christ gave his followers when he spoke the words of today's text.
People are seeing through the Watchtower Society. Those who like the Bible know that the Watchtower misrepresents it. Others who are more interested in the effects of Jehovah's Witnesses on society or on their community or family can go to the internet and see how harmful the Watchtower has been. If the WTS represents the God of the Bible, then that God is truly a jokester who keeps issuing false prophecy and wickedly insane ideas.
