I really appreciate the concern, but i'm not worried about being found out, I kinda wish i would find some of his family on here or better yet him. I wish any of them would see a glimmer of light and we could take off from there.

there was a woman in my old congregation, mother of my best friend, who has pioneered for, I don't know, maybe 40 years? As long as I can remember. Always faithful, she and her husband sold off everything and donated it to the worldwide work before 1975 - yes, no matter what the WTBTS says, they did say the end was coming in 1975. Now that she is really old, in her 80s, no one from the congregation visits her. Her JW child is a useless welfare-gouging manipulator. Her husband died last year; no one went to visit him while he was sick. She won't speak to her daughter who was disfellowshipped as a teenager for being pregnant, in spite of the fact that this daughter is a wonderful person. She has shunned that daughter since 1966. So here is this little old lady, no money, no retirement, no visitors or support from the congregation, manipulative daughter and grandchildren who use her to babysit, for god's sake. Very zealous for many years, very bitter now but still doesn't get the point.

The whole Machlaughlan family in the Arcata and McKinleyville congregation in California. You have never met a more black and white uncaring family of zealots, until you met them.

I can remember a family that wanted to sequester me during the holidays while I was first studying. They have also mentioned that they would want to take me in should I show signs of slipping, insinuating that they would drag me in at all costs. This family has just about every relative in the lie, and they have a network of "friends" that are all witlesses.
Some outstanding examples of sacrifices they have made to all pioneer include home schooling, giving up cable TV, going down to part time work so they could pioneer, and having all of their grown children still living with the parents so they can all pool their resources and pioneer. Notably, all the children have had significant health problems including frequent ear infections, Candida yeast infections, migraines, and a family history of diabetes and heart disease. They also eat way too many TV dinners (because they have to get ready for that damn boasting session after spending all day in field circus) and way too much fast "food". All that for the damn cult.
I have also seen another hounder that didn't even have a TV or radio in the house. He was in it all his life, and I only saw the inside of his house once. There wasn't a damn electronic device in the whole place, and it looked like a library with all the littera-trash neatly stored on those bookcases. He also sabotaged all efforts of mine to get the sisters to like me at the a$$emblies.
