Isn't it strange how everyone can't wait for Paradise, but they don't want to put in much effort to get there?
So much for being saved by GRACE!
A JW would ask "Grace who?"

Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and Newspapers say but we sometimes question the words in the Bible?
If the Magazines and Newspapers were originally written thousands of years ago in a foreign language, then YES! I WOULD QUESTION THE WORDS IN THEM!
Make sure you get your Aprostate checked!
MOOMANCHU- Hey guy ! Hang in there bud ! Don't let the Watchtower ba$tard$ wear ya down
Isn't it strange how a $100.00 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you put it in the contribution box, but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Yes, because when you are going shopping you are receiving something of value for that $100!
What's the going rate for empty words?
Yes, $100 is a lot of money to waste in the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund, But I have spent that much at a time on Christmas decorations, that I actually enjoy (plus give Jehovah a slap in the face).
I found it a burden to spend $20 on a crap used monitor for a computer that was supposed to be used solely for research on Watchtower crap CDs. The damn thing sat for more than 5 years before it got thrown out. However, I spent more than $800 on a whole system for a program that was, if nothing else, to be a major slap in Jehovah's face. And I spent even more to go online.
I found it difficult to read a single Puketower magazine through. However, I joined one of those Secret Societies (about independent thinking) that the Tower bashed so much, and it turned out to be nothing more than Aristotle's philosophy in action. I got not one, but three, books each more than 1,000 pages long. I read each one in about 2 weeks. Ironically, I learned more about the real Jesus from those books than I ever learned either from the Bible or the Puketower Society.
When you get value for your expenditure equal or greater than what you are expending, it seems like an easy thing to do. Those books cost me about $100 each, but I do not feel the money or time to be wasted. However, if I were to pay that much to go to a Grand Boasting Session, the money would all have been wasted and I would have not received any value whatsoever for it. Ditto the computer: it took more money and effort to get this computer system and get it online than it would have to get the other one working. But, compared to the value, this one was by far the better value. Thus, it is not strange that people will put in more money and effort for something worthwhile than on something that is total waste.

Isn't it strange that the Church version used a 20 dollar bill, but the JW version used a 100 dollar bill. Greedy much?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at the meeting, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?
Amazing! Yeah that's SO strange, one would think that it would be equally enjoyable to watch a proffesionally produced film, with plot and good writing and actors, as it would be to listen to an amateur lecture about the dangers of premarital sex.
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?
Yeah, who woulda thunk, it's kind of difficult to carry on a one-way conversation, with a person who hasn't responded to a word you said in your entire life.
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular n ovel?
Hmm, let's see, 5000 year old made-up geneologies of fictional people who are going to die in a poorly concieved flood story in the next chapter anyway, or a professional and much more believable story with actual PLOT progression.
Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit in the back at meetings?
People don't generally bring little children to concerts. And they're far less likely to get BORED.
Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event or special field service day for the congregation 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust our agenda for other events in the last minute?
Like what events? Working overtime? You get PAID to work overtime. Go out in service? That costs money.
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about Jehovah God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?
Things become more interesting to learn about when they actually exist.

Who is this list directed at? Because that is the complete OPPOSITE of any JW I've ever known.
But why would it be strange to trust a peer-reviewed scientific journel, or trust a news organization that has a good reason to be truthfull? Why is it strange to question the accuracy of a book that makes ubsurd claims, and was written by unknown people at an unknown time and who were under no obligation to be truthful?
Isn't it strange how everyone can't wait for Paradise, but they don't want to put in much effort to get there?
Becuase in the back of their minds, they probably know it's a faeirie tale
Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded Right away, but when we are going to send messages about Jehovah, we think about it twice, and only select some in our friend list to share it with?

Wow, it's like a chain-letter! Instead of "If you don't forward this to everyone you know, it means you're cursed and you'll die in 10 days" it's "If you don't forward this to everyone you know, it meens you are a bad witness and you'll die in Armageddon."
