why? do you feel you are somehow more special than other folks whose lives aren't going so well now? The whole idea of angels watching over you is so illogical - or else most angels are doing a really bad job considering how much suffering there is in the world today. I think we have to watch out for that wanting to be special somehow - either special because your life sucks more than others or special because your life is running smoothly right now. Why not just be glad and enjoy it? Maybe you personally contributed to your current happiness by decisions you have made in the past? Stuff happens because other stuff happened. That's all there is to it. By the way, I'm happy for you - so nice to hear about someone doing well. I hope you keep having good adventures like this!

Not far from the truth.
And no, I am NOT special, I finally was able to have food in the house tonight, been living on freakin oatmeal since I was so determined to take the time for my kids this year. If I was special my bills would be paid, too.

I don't find the idea illogical. Just because someone supernatural might be watching over us doesn't mean it's always for the purpose of saving us. Humankind has humankind to blame for the pitiful condition it is in. I have seen in the past couple of years though that when many people ask for you to be helped, it makes a difference. It doesn't mean things will work out the way you think they should. Sometimes things work out and go directions that just perplex us and then we end up finding it was all for the best anyhow. But the suffering? Isn't it true that most of it is caused by man's inhumanity to man and ignorance?

Nooooo! It was not a mistake to make this thread. You are special and so is every human on the face of this planet. I'm glad you made it. Don't doubt that sometimes otherworldly folk look after us. I have seen it too many times over the past year or two.

The thing is it all comes from this place, the weirdness. And now I know other people here who have similar stories...I've been a skeptic for a long time...but not now.
