  For if you did, that would mean that your conscience would have to have reversed many times in the past:

  * At one point, your conscience would have told you that a person wanting a divorce from a man who was having a homosexual affair wasn't scriptural.

  * Then, a few years later, your conscience would have to change, and allow that divorce..

  * Your conscience would have had to have flip-flopped many times on the "inhabitants of Sodom get ressurected or not"...

  * Your conscience would have to agree that men with facial hair cannot serve as elders or MS..

  * Your conscience at one time would have had to agreed that ANY AND ALL BLOOD was not to be taken for transfusion

  * Now your conscience recently changed, and your conscience now says that fractions of certain blood elements are ok (matter of conscience actually)..

  I have but one question, Fred..

  When you thought ALL blood was bad for transfusion, and when you thought that a scriptural divorce could not be granted because of a homosexual mate (not being one flesh) what changed your conscience' mind?

  Fred's right, they got raped because they had a conscience. A Governing Body based conscience, just like all christians should have.

  I must have missed something.

  If the WTBS is on some list of the UN, how does that make them a member? or what ever the insinuation.

  As far as I could tell it was just a list of humanitarian orgs and what services they can provide. Many of the things the UN stands for any witness would agree with. Peace, who doesn't want that?

  There are other things there that I read that the WTBS would certainly agree with. Use my tax money to send food to starving people around the world? go ahead I'm for that too.

  I agree with STOP signs and traffic signals too, that doesn't make me part of the political process. I might even bitch to my state senator or congressman to put up a traffic light, until I do get one.

  Also, does being incorporated according to US or National laws somehow invalidate an org too. I can go look up in some book to see Incs. and orgs in the US. Does that make them part of Satan's, or "worldly" commercial or political system?

  we all can and have belongewd to something at some point in time.

  its what the stipulations were.

  support the un, in its goals and objectives.

  diseminate information regaurding the un and its goals.

  the disturbing thing, now get ready wizzy old boy.....

  is that since 1991, the year before "joining" the ngo/dpi section of the un, they started publishing VERY positive articles in the awake concerning the un.

  anyways...i'm ready. are you? i know you. time you knew me. dont you think?

  I just went to another forum and printed out what will soon become the Halloween document, at least from the perspective of the WTBS & JWs.

  BTY I'm making an allusion to the Microsoft document about Linux, which is now known as the infamous Halloween document. By whats-his-name, Stallman?

  Are you being insulting? wizzy? Or just condescending?

  BTY. I just changed my settings and excluded my email. I did it before I read this post. It had nothing to do with your post. Just coincidence.

  I changed my picture from an image on the WTBS site. That when whenever, my image is loaded their server takes a hit. I may change it back to Kelsey. I'm just shorter, fatter, balder, and not nearly as rich. We'll see.

  And yes, I would like to know who you are.

  I had similar thoughts during the 60's when we were studying the 'babylon' book. I couldn't understand why an org that promoted peace was so hated by the wt. After all, what is wrong w trying to bring peace? It turned out that those peace efforts were not only wrong/bad/evil, they were inspired by satan *gasp*. It was wrong/bad/evil because it was attracting attention from jehovahs kingdom, which was supposed to be the real cure for everything.

  So, check out the old babylon book of 1963. Voicing what you just wrote, back then would have gotten you hustled into a committee meeting pdq. Either you are really new in the org or you have a theocratically trained memory that can selectively forget, as directed by the wt.
