That is why I do my own car maintenance. Though I was in a hurry one day and went to jiffy lube for a transmission flush. Never take a Hyundai, KIA, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan, Chrysler Corp, or a Honda car to them for that. They believe the US automakers set a world standard trans fluid and only use Dexron Mercon III as refill with a friction modifier to recreate those other nonstandard fluids. Needless to I had a tranny sensor blow soon after.
Off Topic Question: Has Anyone haggled with Jiffy Lube over a new engine?

Years ago when I was a witness teenager, my mom's always got her oil change from Jiffy. Well, she had a brand new compact car, and got the oil changed at Jiffy (reular pioneer) and from that point on, there was an oil leak (she did not notice) but eventually her transmission went out. She sued Jiffy, and won, got a new car, some money etc.
Hope you find this hopeful.

I check behind those guys... I did have an oil change place try to sell me a $2 drain plug gasket without asking.......... got that sucker for free! The Valoline place I use make you sign that you saw your dipstick on full.
We used to use a fleet contractor who left the plug out of some big trucks ...or miss filling them up. After a paying for couple of $10,000 Cats and Cummins they did a lot better
