What is astounding about this, is the fact that they can quote and not print the source, that they can misquote and name the source!!!

The Society has unlimited resources and can easily afford the legal costs of such a suit. Quotes could not.

The list of websites that the WTS has shut down is longer than just Quotes.

If I recall correctly, the WTS wanted the Quotes site taken down initially because the way he presented the material made the WTS look bad. But even before that I think the first time I saw the Quotes site he had commentaries on the excerpts. They coerced him to take down the commentaries. Then they really even worse with just the quotes so they went after him again. There is only so far one person with limited funds can fight a meg-million$ business.

The bottom line is, as much as I hate the Watchtower, they are entitled to the same rights as any other business in this country, including the right to defend their copyrights against infringement. They also have the right to go to hell, and I hope they exercise that right as soon as possible..

Suppose the WTS sues someone with limited assets and they don't try to defend themselves. They just notify the media and make it look like a David and Goliath scenario. I wonder if the WTS would continue amid the bad publicity or just give up.

Yah the end soooooooooooooo close but we still have time to sue people over some cheezy crap in the magazines. Unbelievable!
