Wow, A&W... would you marry me?! Oh, wait, I'm already married.
Thanks for your kind words and I do have several topics I'm working on, several of these topics expose those who need exposing.
Best,
Bryan

Bryan LOL - that's the first marriage proposal I've received on the board! Too bad you are already married, oh wait a minute, I'm still married myself. I keep forgetting that.
Just a little paperwork away from freedom.
Seriously - you should post some of your speeches.
LoB: Nice speech. maybe we'll see other in Canada!
A&W: We're both married?! Well, that puts a dent in that proposal.....
I may post some of my speeches later. Right now I'm creating new speeches and rewriting current ones for the competition which starts first of March.
Best,
Bryan
Hi Bryan, My brother Darin is the president of his Toastmasters group. I have been to several of their meetings and even went to their charter night dinner.
He did his brief ice breaker speech on being raised a JW, he has invited me to speak also, but 5 minutes is not enough for me to even begin to tell it.
Good luck and keep us informed.
One of my comedienne friends has suggested I join. I think I'm probably going to.
Interesting idea but what benefits does it have over what we learned in the Ministry School? I'm serious...for once...btw.
Of all the things about being a dub, I really do appreciate my ability to speak in public and have no fear of knocking on doors, which actually helps me in my local political arena. It also got me out of "Communications" in school.
Finally, I took Dale Carnegie a number of years ago. Is it anything like that? Knowing tricks to remember names, impromptu speaking on any topic, "handling" people, etc?
