David.... remember time heals all wounds. I lost my mother and father the same day, not that they died but I died to them for leaving the borg. My father lived for 8 years after I left and my mother lasted 20 years, both died shunning me.

Ferret, I know what you mean, my dad and mom are old and sure to pass soon.... they won't even read my letters... but you know what? I've come to realize that they are cowards, and I'd rather be anything on this earth than a coward.
I'm done with their games, they'll hurt me never again. And I thank God himself that tomorrow, I'll be warm in my bed instead of hearing the absolute bullshit at the WT study....

I just can't imagine what you go through when your parents won't speak to you. My mom still speaks to me. Maybe she's not completely brainwashed.
