Sure. Maybe a little seed will be planted in the margins of their minds.

    Hi journey-on,
"It wasn't intended to be "scriptural"....It was intended to be spiritual."

It is my belief that the Bible is spiritual. i.e deals with the human spirit and and soul.

In some ways the story is close to the account of Ian McCormack which as he discovered after the experience, was wholly scriptural.

    All the best,

    Hi,
    Sorry-I meant to add this!

    "(A Conversation After Death)"

This is my reason for it being unscriptural.

    Hebrews 9:27 (New International Version)
27Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment

Whether that is important depends on it you believe the Bible is important?

    All the best,

And therein is the quandry! You either accept that the Bible is from The Eternal Creator of All Things and who reveals himself through his creation,

or you accept it as a book compiled by man that contains some interesting insights into man's search for his identity within the grand scheme of things.

Nothing is certain is it? Your faith may be strong for the first argument. Someone else may have just as much faith in the second argument. Who is to know?

Know this, once you put your faith in Jesus you WILL know! I guarantee it.

It will be nothing like any experience with the WT. They are angels of light

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (New International Version)

13For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

When you get in the real light you are going to feel the warmth very soon!

    John 12:46
I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

    All the best,
    Stephen

Chalam: I don't think anyone on this board wants to be preached to. Your intentions may be good. You may honestly believe that it's your duty to save our souls from the torments of hell or whatever. But we are not interested. Give it up.
