I think there is spyware to rack us all down and make us work at the assemblies for the new food arrangement. I also believe that Elvis is still alive and working at Walmart. I believe in the easter bunny, Santa Claus, and that Bush was legally elected in his first Presidential campaign.
Is there spyware on the Societys CD?

I guess I am being paranoid. After all, there is no reason to suspect an organization that changes it's beliefs and denies it, brainwashes it's membership, is so secretive about who and how the NWT was translated and irresponsibly creates an situation perfect for pedophiles to practice their passions, among many other questionable practices.
Silly me!
I have to go. I'm having lunch with Big Foot's sister and I have to pick out my aluminum foil tux for the wedding.

It's not just about the ethics of the WTS; it's about the practicality and benefit to them. The risk would be far too great for a minimal benefit at best.

I highly doubt it. With Internet Security software, plus Windows Firewall, if an application like the WT-CDROM were trying to send any info back to the Society, you would get promted to allow the connection. I have never seen any prompts. I guess theoretically some spyware could find some loophole to send data without prompts, but I don't give the WTS that much credit.

You would think so. I know that for years they would almost never respond to any negative news ect.
Now, they sue to have apostate websites shut down. That's a little paranoid to me.

Well if there is spyware, it doesn't affect me. I'm running it in Linux. :-D
