I wasn't aware of any "pillars" leaving until after I left myself.
I was never a "pillar" but I was a true believer, and I was shocked at how quickly I left once I discovered it was all a lie. A single afternoon of research was all it took to convince me the whole thing was false.

Yes, I was an elder for many years, Rachel. And I came from a prominent "theocratic" family. They still "pray" for me, everyday, as I understand.

My daughter and my ex is out.
Although many left my congregation, not many pillars left. They are growing old very fast though, so I guess the result will be similar.
