They don't say that other PEOPLE outside the organization wouldn't survive. They leave some wiggle room there.

This is yet another poorly written article from the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger class. What I noticed was that they take a word or two out of a scripture and cite that scripture. Then they use those words to back up the authority of the article, using the scripture to prove it. What they don't tell you is that the scripture never was meant to prove what the article tells you.
And, that assertation that prayer is the solution to your problems. It is not. About 90% of your problems can be solved or lessened simply by acting, and that does not require prayer (in fact, praying wastes time that should be spent acting, unless praying helps you to focus on the task). You will be seeing an upcoming study article telling you to trust Jehovah to answer your prayers simply because He claims to have answered a few hand-picked prayers in the Bible. What they won't tell you is that Jehovah answered them solely because they were self-serving, and putting them in the Bible will make us think He answers all prayers similarly. Do not be fooled.
I think this is a much better way to prepare for the Watchtower than going to the boasting session itself. The commentaries are generally accurate (human error aside). The comments made below will not be the canned comments that are heard in the Kingdumb Hell (which are always in the paragraph). I noticed that they started right off the bat with a death threat to anyone not in the cult.
And, yes the "music(??)" at the Kingdumb Hell sucks. I sure hope we get a horrible blizzard that forces the hounders to cancel the meeting or get stuck in the snow trying to hold the boasting session.

This paragraph from the article is just sickening. It reeks of arrogance and hypocrisy. I even used to cringe at this kind of paragraph when I was a full-on, dedicated JW.
Who are the ones that failed to keep thtemselves without spot from the world? The Watchtower Society, by joining the UN's DPI as an NGO and acting as a publicity agent for the UN, that's who! The rotten assholes at the Watchtower Society tell JW parents it is wrong for their kids to be in any 'clubs and other organizations' but the Watchtower Society secretly joined the UNITED NATIONS ORGANISATION for 10 years and only resigned from that organisation when PUBLICLY EXPOSED BY INTERNATIONAL MEDIA!
That's right...tell off JW parents and beat up on the JW children yet again all the while do dirty, sneaky, under-the-table deals with the UN, who you rebuke all other religions for fraternising with. The poor JW kids cannot even join their local table tennis club now. What kind of bait does Satan use to reel in young people? What are the clubs or other organizations that make young people fit in with Satan's world?
Can you please give us some examples?........... Are they playing sports? Going to Heavy Metal shows? Going to sporting events? After school activities?
I guess the answer to ''keeping themselves without spot from the world'' is to encourage all the youths to have ''plenty to do in the work of the lord." Just let them preach,attend 3 meetings per week,and have no other activities.That's why nearly all the youths today leave as soon as they reach 18 years old.
Notice how oftern NLP structured sentences arise "as you (verb) you will feel (emotion) and be moved to (verb)."
This is the same way that hypnotic suggestions are implanted in a subject's mind.
We are repeatedly told what to feel, what to do, what to think; the "proofs" are assumed so require no substantiating evidence for statements like 1914.

Excellent comments, man! I was reading these at work and was laughing throughout. But right at the end when you said:

Anyways, this article was terrible, one of the WT's worst. I don't know who's writing for these magazines anymore, but they're pretty much just expressing static, random thoughts nowadays... or maybe that's the way it's always been..?
