I assume you all know that if you want to kick up a Bloody Mary a notch or two that a good hit of Tabasco in the Tomato juice is wonderful - before the Vodka goes in.

I prefer Texas Pete. It's not quite as hot and though it has no tomatoes, it has a tomato kinda taste. Boy does it taste good in tomato based beef stew and almost any kind of legumes: black eyed peas and pinto beans being the best. Add in some good southern cornbread (not sweet) and yummmy.

I love Tabasco too. But, if you don't care for the vinegar taste, may I suggest you try Cholula. Lots of flavor with just a tad less kick. Bourne
