I checked out Beef heart on the tube I'm surprised that I liked it. Thanks. That chanting stuff...I don't know, I guess I'm still deprogramming. My favorite I'd say would be dance or techno. Either that or the only thing I only listen to is talk radio. I'm a huge talk radio Buff.

I'm in my early 40's and take my 16 year old son to Heavy Metal concerts. Now,I enjoy Death Metal.( PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME! ) I' seen live in concert:

NAPALM DEATH.... SIX FEET UNDER.... SOULFLY....ENSLAVED....DECAPITATED....NILE....UNLEASHED....MINISTRY....OPETH....OZZY...MEGADETH and the list goes on.

I been listening to ABBA since I was about 9 or 10 and still listen to them; I also listen to The Velvet Underground and Nico, love Depeche Mode; I have a weird music collection, if people scanned it they would swear I was schizophrenic.

I love the zydeco, and one of my favorite albums of all time is Nighthawks at the Diner by Tom Waits. I will have to listen to more of the chants to give it a try. Obviously I am a Zappa fan.
