it's simple addition: 1+2+3+3+4+...+36 = 666
so what am I missing? I shouldn't try to read threads that involve OBVES, even though I'm rather fond of him/her/it.

My take on 666 in the bible
If you read the verse in Revelation where it mentions 666, you will notice the verse is out of context. It looks like a writer other than John put in the extra verse. John would not be the least bit interested with a math quiz. The culprit who did this knew of 1+2+3+4+...+36 and inserted it into the bible. 666 is smply a mathematical oddity as shown.
