Why I am going to call the WTS headquarters on February 1...

...and the first day of following months.

My biggest reason is for myself. I haven't spoken to a single witness since I DA'd. Their shunning of me has been total. They are using the resources of a multi billion dollar corporation to slander my reputation, deny me job opportunities (this has already happened), and cut me off from my friends and family. This is not OK. It's not fanatical to respond with a mild and peaceful protest to their abusive policies. I have written letters, started blogs and posted here, but I look forward to speaking to an actual person. I'm glad that a few, at least, have a similar opinion and will be offering moral support by doing the same thing.

I also believe that this may do some good to others. These phone calls may make some people think. It will apply additional pressure for the WTS to modify their policies. It's possible that lives could be saved or children could be protected from abuse. Or maybe it will just cause a minor disruption that will make it harder for them to spread their lies. Either way I'm calling.

I'm happy to join your campaign but I prefer to talk about how they violate human rights. Discussing doctrines with JW's is like hitting one's head against a brick wall.

My suggestion would be to tell them that we doing a protest and we are writing to our respective MP's or senators or whatever outlining what we consider are violations of human rights.

If the WT policies have ruined you changes for employment then you have good chance to win in a law suit. Get yourself a good lawyer!

What?! You were denied a job based on being DA'd?? Hell no, don't let this one slide.

How come people don't wake up to this? Whatever happened to human decency? "Love your neighbor" is, what, the 2nd most high commandment Jesus gave his followers?

    I'm on your side, bro!

Well, I was having discussions with a witness about doing some work for his company. It was a possibility that he might hire me. He was also discussing my services with his boss and it was a good possibility that I might be hired by someone else. Then I DA'd and he stopped talking to me, although I sent him an email about the situation. I'm not sure that I have a very good case, but I did my best to document the situation in case I'm ever involved in any litigation over the shunning issue.

I certainly have the same opinion.

Many people do not realise the power of the WTBTS and the elders, they are liars together.

Phoning will allow you to let some pressure go, BUT if you let them know which congo or area you are in they immediately contact the PO, who then tells more lies and round we go again.

Even if they say something which is totally against their own policy and the bible etc they will still lie.

Our local PO claims the jw-media.org site contains false information and is an apostate site!

    You just can't win.

Too funny. He's right of course. He just doesn't realise how right he is.
